🐾 Why are these ingredients good for dogs?

🥣 Lactose-free natural yogurt

Many dogs cannot tolerate lactose because of the milk sugar - so the lactose-free version is ideal. Yoghurt contains good bacteria that support the intestinal flora and contribute to healthy digestion. It also provides calcium and protein, which strengthen bones and muscles.

🍌 Banana

Bananas are a real all-rounder for dogs: they contain potassium, magnesium, vitamin B6 and fiber. These promote heart health, support nerve function and help with digestion. The natural sweetness of the banana makes the ice cream particularly tasty - without any added sugar.

🍓 Raspberries

Raspberries are rich in antioxidants, which can strengthen the immune system and prevent inflammation. They also contain fiber, vitamin C and are low in calories - perfect for a healthy treat.

🫐 Blackberries

Blackberries also score highly with vitamins C, E and K, as well as a good dose of folic acid and manganese. They can help prevent cell damage and promote general health.

🌞 The benefits of homemade dog ice cream

  • Healthy & natural: You know exactly what's in it - no artificial additives or dangerous ingredients.
  • Refreshment in the heat: Dogs can't sweat - a cool ice cream helps them to regulate themselves better.
  • Variety in the bowl: Dog ice cream is a great activity and reward at the same time.
  • Quick & easy to make: No effort, no special equipment - just fresh ingredients and a little freezing time.

⚠️ What you should look out for

  • Make sure that your dog doesn't eat too hastily - small portions are ideal.
  • Never use sugar, xylitol or artificial sweeteners - these can be dangerous for dogs!
  • If your dog is allergic to certain fruits, test new ingredients carefully.

Conclusion

With just four natural ingredients, you can easily conjure up a healthy and delicious ice cream for your dog. It's refreshing, good for your dog's health and guaranteed to get them excited for the next summer day.

Try it out - your dog will love it! 🐕🍧
